The second part of your tour
Either after or before your San Francisco city tour, we will drive you to an overlook on the Golden Gate Bridge, and then to Muir Woods National Monument. In Muir Woods forest of redwoods, your tour leader will provide the required entrance tickets (included in the tour price), so you can enjoy a self-guided tour inside Muir Woods and marvel at the giant coastal redwoods. Please note that tour guides are not allowed to guide inside Muir Woods National Monument and Alcatraz. Muir Woods is a small forest with very limited parking, so being driven there means you don’t have to walk far to reach the entrance. We will drop you off at the main entrance and take care of parking and the rest.

Muir Woods redwoods park is a must-see destination on any trip to the San Francisco Bay Area, but quite frankly, nothing matches the size of the giant sequoias we saw in Yosemite national park, they are 3 times larger, older and more impressive than these small young redwood trees in muir woods .
There are many parks of redwoods but they are far from San Francisco, we only had one day in the city and this was the best combo tour we found, it exceeded our expectations in every way.
